PRESS RELEASE - DELSOL Avocats assisted the US group DataBank (zColo) in the context of the acquisition by Etix Everywhere of five of its data centers located in and operated from France by zColo France SAS (one in Paris, one in Montpellier and one in Toulouse) with a maximum capacity of 5,4 MW. Initially DataBank had bought these assets in the context of zColo’s takeover in 2020.
Based on Dallas, Texas, DataBank is a leading platform for shared data centre infrastructure, specialising in the provision of colocation and connectivity services.
Etix Everywhere, a Nantes-based subsidiary of the Australian Global Data Centre Group (GDC), is backed by Eurazeo, whose Eurazeo Transition Infrastructure Fund (ETIF) became a key shareholder in Etix in February 2023 alongside GDC.
The deal was completed on 29 September once the necessary regulatory approvals, obtained.
