DELSOL Avocats advised ABC Companies, a leader in motorcoach and transit equipment sales and service in USA and Canada which was the exclusive distributor of the motor coaches produced by the Belgian Company Van HooL, in the context of Van Hool’s bankruptcy.
Our team assisted ABC Companies, throughout a complex and particularly urgent process, in acquiring the shares held by Van Hool in ABC Companies and played a key role, alongside the Dutch law firm Dirkzwager and the Swiss Law firm MLL, in securing a new distributor agreement with the purchaser of Van Hool’s assets, the Dutch manufacturer VDL. This strategic transaction strengthens ABC Companies’ position in the North American market and opens new opportunities for collaboration with VDL.
