Sébastien POPIJN is head of the BELGIAN office’s "Mergers & Acquisitions - Corporate law" Department.

His expertise covers the following areas :

  • mergers & acquisitions : advising national and international clients in the fields of national or cross-border sales, acquisitions and restructurings (mergers, demergers, partial asset transfers, etc.) ;
  • corporate law : restructuring (included cross-border restructuring), advising on corporate structure, setting-up companies, capital increases or decreases, dividend distribution, shareholders’ rights, conflict of interests, shareholders disputes, liability, corporate litigation
  • business contracts/litigation : distribution, sales agents, subcontracting, manufacturing agreements, T&Cs, letters of intent, NDAs, GTCC, franchising, business litigation.
  • aviation law : advising airline carriers on customer relationships, EU261/Montreal claims, noise proceedings, commercial contract, etc.

Sebastien is also the Executive Director of TRANS-EUROPEAN LAW FIRM ALLIANCE (TELFA).

He works both in French and in English.
