DELSOL Avocats announces the promotion of five lawyers to counsel status

DELSOL Avocats is pleased to announce the promotion of five lawyers to counsel status : Guillaume Buhagiar (Personal Data & Life Sciences), Simon Gérard (Non-Profit Organisations – Social Entrepreneurship), Justine Marlot (Wealth Law & Taxation), Mélanie Oualiten (Civil & Commercial Litigation) and Victoire Störksen (Life Sciences).

With these new promotions, DELSOL Avocats now counts nearly 150 lawyers and legal professionals, including 35 partners and 24 counsels, across its Paris, Lyon and Brussels offices.

Henri-Louis Delsol and Emmanuel Kaeppelin, Managing Partners, welcome these promotions, which reflect « the strong commitment of those involved, both with clients and within the firm », and « illustrate DELSOL Avocats’ determination to train and promote talent from within ».

Guillaume Buhagiar advises companies on matters relating to personal data protection, new technologies, artificial intelligence and digital health.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2016, Guillaume joined DELSOL Avocats in 2024. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Law (King’s College London), a Master II in Multimedia and IT Law (Université Paris II Assas) and a Master II in Communication Law (Université Paris II Assas).

Simon Gérard advises non-profit organisations on all legal, tax and regulatory aspects of their activities, particularly in the context of restructuring operations. He also has recognised expertise in supporting donors and structuring philanthropic projects.

A member of the Lyon Bar since 2020, Simon joined DELSOL Avocats in 2019. He holds a Master II in Criminal Law Practice (Université de Montpellier) and an LLM in International Commercial Law (University of Nottingham).

Justine Marlot advises entrepreneurs, executives and family businesses on matters relating to wealth taxation and the taxation of business transfers and disposals. She also assists them in meeting their filing obligations and in the context of tax audits and disputes.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2015, she joined DELSOL Avocats in 2021. She holds a Master II in Tax Law (Université Lyon III).

Mélanie Oualiten handles pre-litigation and litigation matters before civil and commercial courts. She has developed particular expertise in commercial disputes, corporate law, and banking and financial law.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2013, she joined DELSOL Avocats in 2023. She holds an LLM in International Business Law (Queen Mary University of London), a Master II in Business Litigation and a Master I in Business Law (Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne).

Victoire Störksen supports healthcare players on regulatory and compliance matters specific to their activities, in the negotiation and drafting of strategic contracts, in their interactions with health authorities, and in dispute management.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2019, she joined DELSOL Avocats in 2024. She holds a Master II in Business Law (Université Paris-Dauphine), a Master I in Business Law and a University Diploma in Contractual Practice (Université Lille II).
