PRESS RELEASE - DELSOL Avocats assisted Wacano with the acquisition of Bio Park, a business incubator dedicated to the health sector
DELSOL Avocats assisted Wacano, a subsidiary of Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the acquisition of Bio Park, a business incubator dedicated to lifes sciences and health, located in Villejuif, from SADEV 94 (Development company for the Val de Marne region). Wacano and Banque des Territoires partnered within a joint company in order to purchase the site.
Since its construction in 2011 by SADEV 94, Wacano and Val de Marne Chamber of Commerce and Industry ensured the management and development of the 7,500m² site, which hosts 16 technology-intensive biotech companies such as STILLA Technologies or Nanobiotix.
Such acquisition reinforces the biotech sector in the Ile-de-France region and more specifically in the « Grand Orly Seine Bièvre » local public institution. It provides new prospects for Villejuif BioPark and is a major first step of a wider project for Wacano consisting in similar strategic sites.
In the context of this transaction, DELSOL Avocats and Chevreux notary’ office assisted Wacano with :
